The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boban shoots in looking for a takedown. Rolf tries to sprawl out of it but Boban keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rolf manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rolf buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Boban sizes up Rolf with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Boban throws a right hand that Rolf ducks under and follows up with a left that Rolf also avoids with ease.

Boban shoots in for a takedown but Rolf shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Boban throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Boban keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Boban throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Rolf throws a leg kick but Boban sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boban can't find room to land a body shot as Rolf controls the action.

That's time! Rolf's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Boban feints and then cracks Rolf's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rolf down.
Rolf scores with a head kick. Boban tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Boban drives through with a takedown into guard.
Boban postures up in Rolf's guard and throws a big left but Rolf blocks it.
Boban with a flurry of punches that miss.
Boban throws and elbow that misses. Rolf uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boban's guard. Nice move by Rolf!

Rolf tries to free his leg and advance position but Boban is retaining full guard.

Boban looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rolf has picked Boban up and slammed him! Boban can't keep hold of the triangle and Rolf manages to pass to side control!

Rolf is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Boban looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rolf gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Boban is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rolf lets go of the hold and Boban can pop his arm back in it's socket.
