Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Tenorman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Heidegger!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heidegger misses with a head kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tenorman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tenorman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Heidegger was well out of range. Poor timing from Tenorman.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Heidegger.

Heidegger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tenorman did well to prevent Heidegger getting side control.
Tenorman keeping hold of Heidegger's head, controlling as best he can.
Tenorman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tenorman tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Heidegger throws and elbow that misses. Tenorman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Heidegger's guard. Nice move by Tenorman!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tenorman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tenorman postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Tenorman advances position into side control!
Heidegger is trying to control Tenorman's posture but Tenorman avoids it.
Heidegger manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tenorman's best efforts.

Tenorman is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Tenorman tries to pass to full mount but Heidegger defends it.
Tenorman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Heidegger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tenorman works his way into side control.
Heidegger is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Heidegger can't keep his opponent in guard - Tenorman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Tenorman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tenorman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Heidegger's head.
Heidegger wants to control but Tenorman is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tenorman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
A big strike lands for Tenorman! That's really hurt Heidegger and he's turned his back - Tenorman keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Tenorman jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Tenorman!
