Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hassan Mohammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohammad comes into the arena with Thé à la Menthe / La Caution / Instrumental blaring out of the sound system. McGregor has chosen Bloc Party - Flux as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for McGregor.
McGregor tries a low kick but Mohammad avoids it.

Mohammad slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mohammad enables McGregor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mohammad manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

McGregor drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mohammad dives on top into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

McGregor lands a big right hand that sends Mohammad crashing to the mat! McGregor stays standing though and waves Mohammad back to his feet!

Hassan Mohammad's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mohammad drops his hands momentarily. McGregor doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Mohammad staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Mohammad doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
