Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Comte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Comte has chosen Laser life by Blood Brothers as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Comte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brooks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Comte counters with a three punch combo that has Brooks backing up. Brooks nods at Comte to acknowledge the strikes.
Comte throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Comte missing with a left hand there. Brooks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Comte cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Comte feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Comte displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brooks throws out the jab.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Comte.
Brooks lands with a kick to the ribs.
A clash of legs there as Comte blocks the low kick.

Boxing Comte showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Comte has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
