The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dougles tries to clinch but Johnny moves out of range.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dougles tries to buck Johnny off but Johnny is having none of it.

Johnny is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dougles is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Johnny wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dougles, who protects the arm well.

Johnny is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dougles knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Johnny goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dougles has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Johnny but great work by Dougles.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Johnny's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
