Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Chubar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Chubar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Holmes won't be happy with that.
Holmes manages to get back to half guard.
Chubar throws a strike but Holmes avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Chubar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Holmes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chubar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Holmes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Holmes's back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Holmes grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Chubar has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Holmes's body.
Chubar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Chubar has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Holmes has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Holmes is trying to remain composed but Chubar is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chubar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Holmes napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Chubar decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Chubar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Holmes was covering up waiting for the punch and Chubar finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Chubar rushes Holmes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Chubar lands an uppercut.
Chubar wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Holmes tries to circle away but Chubar has him pinned against the cage.

Chubar decides to pull guard.
Holmes wants to stand but Chubar is controlling his posture from full guard.
Holmes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chubar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chubar wants to improve his position but instead Holmes has moved into half guard.

Holmes thows a huge punch but Chubar dodges it nicely.
Chubar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chubar tries to get out of the position.
Holmes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chubar does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Holmes stops Chubar from getting back to his feet.
Chubar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Chubar is pressing down on Holmes's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Chubar could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Chubar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Holmes!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Chubar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Chubar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Chubar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Holmes for as long as he can get away with.
