Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julio Coelho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Borba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coelho fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Borba to the ground. Coelho is now in Borba's guard.
Coelho wants to control from the top but Borba keeps moving.
Coelho throws a strike but Borba rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Coelho has momentary wrist control but Borba slips an elbow through the middle.
Coelho manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Borba manages to get himself to full guard.
Coelho pushes down on Borba's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Coelho is working for a submission of some sort.
Borba looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Borba is looking to escape.
Coelho is working for a kimura but Borba is defending it quite comfortably.
Coelho seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Borba does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Borba is trying to maintain the position but Coelho is very close to passing his half guard.
Borba is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coelho's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coelho's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Borba is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Coelho has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Borba has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Coelho taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Borba doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Patrick Borba!
