Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glen Rosalando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merrick Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has chosen Blood Sugar - Pendulum as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane throws a hook but Rosalando blocks it.

Kane closes the distance and clinches.
Kane blocks a body shot from Rosalando.
Rosalando content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Kane controlling the action here for a moment.
Rosalando misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rosalando goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kane prevents it.
Kane with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Rosalando will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kane up against the cage.
Rosalando drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kane gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kane slows down the pace here.
Kane lands a right hand.
Rosalando misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Rosalando can't get the takedown.

Kane works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Merrick Kane was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Some wild striking there from Kane.
Kane stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kane wants it to stay on the feet.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kane.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rosalando keeps the fight on the outside.
Jab, jab by Rosalando - just one landing.

Kane uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rosalando.
Kane wants to clinch.
Kane buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rosalando takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rosalando is breathing heavily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rosalando crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kane - the referee stops the clock and Rosalando gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kane. Rosalando manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kane connects with a single shot there.
Rosalando takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kane throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kane scores with a jab to the body.
Kane tries to clinch up.
Kane scores with a hook to the body. Rosalando takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kane lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rosalando at a distance.
A jab lands there for Kane.

Kane scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kane controlling the pace.
Kane thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rosalando's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Merrick Kane dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Rosalando misses with a lunging right hand
and Kane counters with a crisp right that sends Rosalando to the canvas! Kane follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
