Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopkins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Testament- Return To Serenity. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin avoids the head kick by Hopkins.

Hopkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hopkins comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hopkins swings for the body but Austin moves out of range.

Hopkins is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Austin is just riding it out for now. Hopkins eventually gives up the hold.

Hopkins is working for an americana but Austin has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Hopkins was thinking about the submission.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hopkins shoots in looking for a takedown. Austin tries to sprawl out of it but Hopkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Austin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hopkins is looking to wear down Austin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tyson Austin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Austin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hopkins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Austin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
