Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorn comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - TNT. Khan has chosen Ready 4 War as his entrance music. Mike Thorn had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Thorn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Genghis Khan!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan throws a sloppy head kick and Thorn moves out of range easily.
A slow jab from Khan misses its intended target.
Khan looks to land a combination but Thorn avoids it well.
Khan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Khan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thorn.
Khan throws out a powerful jab.
Khan throws a head kick that misses.
Khan tries to clinch up but Thorn circles away and keeps his distance.
Khan shoots in for a takedown but Thorn shows good takedown defense.
Khan slips a straight right by Thorn.
Thorn throws a body punch but Khan moves out of range.
Thorn throws a hook but Khan avoids it easily.
Thorn cracks Khan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Thorn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Khan to score with a decent uppercut.
A combination from Khan does no damage.
Donk. Thorn catches Khan right on the button with a cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thorn missing with a left hand there. Khan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Khan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thorn.
Khan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thorn avoids it really well and circles away.
Khan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Thorn digs a good hook to Khan's body.
Thorn ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circling - Khan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thorn sizes up Khan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Khan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Khan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thorn.
Khan shoots in and drives through. Thorn sprawls well.
Mike Thorn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Genghis Khan.
Nice straight punches there by Thorn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Thorn.
Thorn scores with a hook to the body. Khan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Thorn throws a jab when Khan was well out of range.
Thorn thows a body shot but no joy.
Thorn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Khan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Thorn is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Khan.
Khan misses the jab.
Thorn jabs at Khan's body.
Thorn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Khan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Thorn scores with a shot to the body.
Thorn lands a nice shot that snaps Khan's head back.
Thorn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Khans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Thorn keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Thorn misses the shot to the body.
Khan scores with a three punch combo!
Thorn lands with a nice combination. Khan backs away looking to recover.
A swing and a miss from Khan.

Khan is rocked!
A right-left combo lands from Thorn.
Khan is still on wobbly legs! Can Thorn finish him?

Thorn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Khan.
Thorn throws a hook but Khan blocks it.
Khan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thorn lands a really nice looking cross but Khan seems unphased.
Khan gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Khan tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Thorn is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Khan buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Khan!! Khan is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Thorn throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
