The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard shoots in for a takedown but Mack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Minard throws a hook but Mack avoids it easily.
Minard chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Minard throws a chopping leg kick but Mack manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Minard tries to move into range but Mack moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Minard misses with a series of wild punches.
Minard misses with a wild body shot.
Minard tries for a takedown but Mack sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Minard scores a takedown into full mount!

Minard postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mack looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Minard loads up with a big shot that hurts Mack! He's pulled Minard in close but Minard has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Mack survive? More strikes from Minard and Mack is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
