The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquel works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Lappin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vasquel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lappin scrambles back to his feet.
Vasquel scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Lappin tries for a takedown but Vasquel circles away easily
and Vasquel counters with a three punch combo that has Lappin backing up. Lappin nods at Vasquel to acknowledge the strikes.
Vasquel paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and Vasquel counters with a left and a right that stings Lappin.

and Vasquel counters with a flying knee that drops Lappin! Vasquel dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
