Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Casper Orion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Foley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Casper Orion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mick Foley!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Orion is out of range.
No luck for Orion with that takedown attempt.
Orion throws a combination that misses
and Foley counters with a straight right hand.
Foley scores with a nice head shot.
Foley lands with an uppercut that bounces Orion off the cage and back into rage.
Foley works the jab nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Orion moves out of range as Foley strikes.
Orion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Foley counters with a nice body shot.
Orion showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Foley.
Orion tries to clinch but Foley moves out of range.

Foley connects with a jab.
Orion shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Foley pinned against the cage. Foley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Casper Orion. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Foley leaves Orion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Orion. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Orion fails with an attempt to clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Foley.
Foley tries to work over Orion's front leg with a kick but Orion checks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Foley fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Orion on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Orion gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Foley gets underhooks to prevent Orion's takedown attempt.
Foley lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Orion backwards.
Orion tries to pull guard but Foley holds him up against the cage and eventually Orion drops back down to his feet.
Orion drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Foley gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Foley stalls.
Orion tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Foley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Nice combo by Foley! Oh, that's hurt him - Orion falls to the canvas and Foley follows him into side control.
Orion is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Foley asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Foley is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Orion dodges the ground and pound from Foley.
Orion is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Foley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orion. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Orion struggling a bit here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Foley connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Orion some visible discomfort.
Foley just content to control the position.
Foley trying to control the position but Orion is working away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Orion is looking for a sweep.
Orion dodges the ground and pound from Foley.
Orion is looking to reverse the position.
Orion is trying to escape the position but Foley is controlling the position.
Foley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Orion manages to work his way to half guard, despite Foley's best efforts.
Foley stalling.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mick Foley hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Orion shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Foley as he avoids it easily.
Orion gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Orion moves forwards but Foley connects with a nice, crisp jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mick Foley dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Orion dives in and grabs Foley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Foley pushes down on Orion's head and hops out.
Foley fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Orion is out of range.

Foley cracks Orion with a big right hand and Orion goes down!

Orion is rocked!

Orion has his foot on Foley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Foley works his way back into a safe position though.
Foley cracks Orion with a solid left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Foley scoring with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Orion is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Foley frees his head nicely. Oh but Orion has switched to an armbar! Foley is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
