Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Pleasures (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Hopkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Pleasures!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pleasures shoots in for a takedown but Hopkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Pleasures fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hopkins, pushing him back against the cage.

Pleasures ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pleasures no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hopkins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Hopkins being controlled here momentarily.
Pleasures's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Hopkins wants to stand and escape but instead Pleasures has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pleasures throwing strikes from guard but Hopkins blocks nicely.
Hopkins keeping moving, preventing Pleasures from controlling successfully.
Pleasures throws a big right hand that misses.
Pleasures wants to control from the top but Hopkins keeps moving.
Pleasures distracts Hopkins with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hopkins is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Pleasures makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pleasures is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Pleasures drops back looking for a leg! Hopkins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hopkins manages to kick Pleasures off! Pleasures jumps back into Hopkins's guard.
Pleasures working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hopkins's head.

Pleasures content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hopkins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pleasures is controlling him.
Pleasures distracts Hopkins with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hopkins is rocked!
Pleasures loads up on a big left hand. Hopkins felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Pleasures looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Hopkins can't hide his disappointment, as Pleasures celebrates the victory.
