Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Hardwick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardwick comes to the cage accompanied by Elephant Man - Pon Di River. On his way into the cage it seems that Jason Hardwick has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jason Hardwick seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa shoots for a double leg takedown but Hardwick sprawls well. He's pushed Balboa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Balboa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hardwick as he jumps to the side.
A clash of legs there as Hardwick blocks the low kick.
Balboa swings away with a leg kick that misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Balboa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hardwick's waist but Hardwick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Balboa off to one side.

Well Balboa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
