Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wilby Champion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brownie Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has chosen climb as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Champion.
Champion scores with a three punch combo!
Champion throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Champion lands a nice looking body shot.
Jenkins looks gassed!

Champion darts in and clinches Jenkins up against the cage.
Jenkins wants to break free but Champion has control.
Champion really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jenkins has a couple of punches blocked by Champion.
Champion slows down the pace here.
Champion unloads a knee to the mid-section. Jenkins lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Champion works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Champion lands a knee to the head.
Champion stalling the fight.

Champion breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Champion ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Champion instigates a clinch.
Champion comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Champion trying to land knees to the body.
Jenkins throws a punch but it's blocked by Champion.
Champion lands an elbow inside.
Jenkins misses with some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Jenkins fails to land.
Champion blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jenkins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Champion lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Jenkins misses with the head strike.

The referee calls for Champion to work.
Jenkins misses with a short punch on the inside.
Jenkins is looking to break free of the clinch but Champion has double underhooks.
Champion unloads a knee to the mid-section. Jenkins lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Champion pulls guard successfully.

Champion working for a triangle but Jenkins defends it easily.
Jenkins wants to stand and escape but instead Champion has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Champion forces his way into half guard.

Champion is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jenkins defends it well.
Champion passes to full mount!
Champion takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Champion looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Champion forces the positional change into back control.

Champion is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Jenkins has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Champion has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Jenkins taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Champion doesn't care though - he's delighted!
