Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Rejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and D C Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rejo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ragin Fit. Jackson has chosen Real American as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rejo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
Rejo fails to land the takedown.
Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jackson scores with a jab. Rejo acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Jackson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rejo wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.

Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Rejo moves out of range easily.

Jackson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rejo is trying to defend but Jackson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Jackson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rejo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rejo shrugs it off.
Jackson prevents Rejo from getting the reversal.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rejo tries to lock up and control but Jackson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Jackson lands a big shot there that rocks Rejo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Jackson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Rejo in real trouble here! The ref calls for Rejo to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
