Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jakobi Smithy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smithy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Korn: "Freak on a Leash". Jakobi Smithy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jonathan Sparks's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smithy misses with a low kick.
Smithy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sparks scores with a shot to the body.
Smithy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sparks misses with a wild body shot.
Jonathan Sparks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Smithy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sparks to score with a decent uppercut.

Sparks wants to clinch but Smithy slips to the side
and Sparks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

A left and a right from Sparks both land. Nice combination.
Sparks connects with a nice looking jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Smithy lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sparks or not.

Sparks has a couple of punches blocked by Smithy.

Smithy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sparks is defending well for now.
Smithy throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Sparks lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Sparks on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sparks can't find room to land a body shot as Smithy controls the action.

Smithy is rocked!
Sparks creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Smithy with a big uppercut! Smithy tries to clinch up but Sparks pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Smithy to the mat! Smithy covers up and Sparks unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
