The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hewitt changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
St Pierre looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hewitt throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hewitt goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Hewitt tries to close the distance and clinch up but St Pierre swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hewitt blocks a head kick by St Pierre.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hewitt feints with a jab and clips St Pierre right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! St Pierre is sent crashing into the canvas and Hewitt leaps in for the kill! St Pierre tries to get to his feet but Hewitt is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that St Pierre is in need of a savior and steps in!
