The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomaco showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Daniels.
A jab from Daniels finds it's way through Gomaco's defenses.
Gomaco takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gomaco is looking to clinch but Daniels is avoiding it.
Daniels scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gomaco tries a low kick but Daniels avoids it.
Gomaco throws a series of punches but Daniels moves out of range.
Daniels with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Daniels throws a lazy right hand but Gomaco sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gomaco ducks right into an uppercut from Daniels.
Pete Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gomaco is looking to clinch.
Gomaco defending well as Daniels loads up on a big left hand.
Gomaco ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gomaco tries to clinch there but Daniels circles away.
A slow jab from Daniels misses its intended target.

Gomaco forces Daniels back against the cage and clinches.

Gomaco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Daniels scores with a body shot.
Gomaco takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gomaco does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Gomaco takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Daniels misses the jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gomaco is looking to clinch but Daniels is avoiding it.
Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gomaco moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good work by Gomaco as he checks the leg kick.
Gomaco is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Daniels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gomaco is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gomaco fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Daniels is out of range.
Daniels lands a nice hook to Gomaco's body. Gomaco takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gomaco moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Daniels lands a glancing blow to the side of Gomaco's head.

Gomaco is rocked!
Daniels lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Gomaco head around and knocks him out cold! Daniels hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
