The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jacobs connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jacobs avoids a punch combination nicely.
Masters bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Masters moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Jacobs throws a big shot that misses.

Masters checks a low kick from Jacobs.
A slapping leg kick lands for Masters.
Masters misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jacobs looks gassed!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jacobs.
Masters lands a nice hook to Jacobs's body. Jacobs takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A punch lands to the side of Jacobs 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Masters shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jacobs eats them both and turns towards Masters to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Jacobs blocks a head kick by Masters.
Masters throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Masters moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Masters!
Masters plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Chris Masters is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jacobs gets cracked there but stands up to it.
