The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefheart fails in his attempt to clinch.
Beefheart looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Beefheart uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ishimura.
Beefheart misses with a body shot.
Ishimura tries to bum rush Beefheart with a series of wild strikes but Beefheart uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ishimura scores with a crisp jab that stopped Beefheart in his tracks.
Beefheart ducks right into an uppercut from Ishimura.
Beefheart throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Beefheart. Ishimura does a little dance to reset his feet.
Beefheart's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ishimura connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Beefheart scrambles back to his feet.
Beefheart moves in looking to clinch but Ishimura pushes him off.
Ishimura smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ishimura lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beefheart circles away quickly and effectively.
Beefheart tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ishimura paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ishimura throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ishimura misses the jab.
A jab from Ishimura finds it's way through Beefheart's defenses.
Ishimura looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Beefheart drops Ishimura with a beautiful combination! Ishimura stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Beefheart is looking for the KO!

It looks like Takashi Ishimura has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beefheart avoids a punch combination nicely.
Captain Beefheart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beefheart stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Beefheart is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Ishimura like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Ishimura from another fist facial!
