Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bravado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bravado comes to the cage accompanied by Pray. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravado throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ko misses with a hook. Bravado ducked under it nicely.
Bravado throws a hook to the side of Ko's head but Ko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bravado pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bravado dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ko. That did some damage!
Ko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bravado.
Bravado wants to slow Ko down by chopping away at his legs.

Ko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ko takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Bravado walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ko checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bravado ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bravado finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ko throws a jab but it's blocked by Bravado.

Ko checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

That kick from Bravado tenderised Ko's leg. Ko is trying to keep his angry face on.

Some bone on bone action there as Ko checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Ko counters with a left to the body.

Ko leaves Bravado with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bravado.

and Bravado takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bravado is controlling him.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

so Bravado counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Ko wants to sweep here but Bravado controlling him for the moment.
Bravado wants to control from the top but Ko keeps moving.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bravado is on top in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bravado sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ko is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Ko with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bravado to score with a decent uppercut.

Ko throws the left hand but Bravado avoids the punch easily.

Bravado shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ko manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ivan Ko hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ko paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ko's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ko duly obliges.
Bravado looks to throw the jab but Ko is out of range.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
