Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Terrell Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Turner showed some decent athleticism there.
Turner blocks the strikes from Jones.
Jones pushes Turner off looking to stand but Turner dives back in and keeps control.
Turner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Turner thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
Turner landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Turner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Turner tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Turner pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Turner wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
Jones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Turner has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Jones looks to land a left hand but Turner moved out of range nicely.
Jones scores with a hook to the body. Turner takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Turner throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Turner swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Turner pushes him off.

Turner moves into the clinch.
Jones throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Turner blocks it with crossed arms.

Turner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jones avoids the head kick by Turner.

and Turner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Turner decides to stand up.
Jones throws a lazy right hand but Turner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones throws a jab when Turner was well out of range.
Turner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones throws a series of punches but Turner avoids them all with ease.
Jones fails with the takedown
and Turner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jones looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones blocks a head kick by Turner.
Jones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jones looks to land a right hand but Turner moved out of range.

Horrible takedown by Turner or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.

Turner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones avoids a kick to the body.
Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Turner takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

so Turner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Terrell Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Jones.
Turner chips away with some ground and pound.
Jones wants to stand up but Turner is controlling him.
Turner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Turner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Turner won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jones avoids the head kick by Turner.
Turner throws a head kick that misses.
Jones works over Turner's head and body with a nice combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones lands an overhand right.
Turner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Turner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Turner makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Jones really felt that one!

Adam Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Turner tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Turner's shoulder, as Turner tries to avoid the shot.
Jones throws a jab when Turner was well out of range.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Jones tries to lock up and control but Turner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Turner looking to finish Jones with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jones!
Terrell Turner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jones Rushes Turner and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Turner is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Jones Piles on the pressure and Turner crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
