Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carioca lands a nice hook to Rafetti's body. Rafetti takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rafetti tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carioca paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rafetti shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carioca as he jumps to the side.

and Carioca holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Carioca gets through Rafetti's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Rafetti is trying to break the clinch but Carioca is controlling him.

Rafetti jumps guard but Carioca stands there with Rafetti around his waist. Rafetti gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Carioca has Rafetti pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Rafetti is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Carioca - that's hurt Rafetti badly! Oh, another knee lands and Rafetti is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Rafetti doesn't seem to be complaining.
