Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Shrek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Temille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shrek comes to the cage accompanied by It Is You. Temille has chosen Blazin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Shawn Shrek is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shawn Shrek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Temille!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrek looks to land a combination but Temille avoids it well.
Shrek is breathing heavily.

Temille moves into range and clinches up with Shrek.
Shrek is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Shrek looking for a takedown.
Shrek is working for takedown but Temille is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shawn Shrek. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Temille pulls guard successfully.

Temille working for a triangle but Shrek defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shrek trying to control but Temille is working from the bottom.

Temille has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shrek can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Shrek with a flurry of punches that miss.
Shrek slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Temille looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Temille is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Shrek wants to control from the top but Temille keeps moving.
Shrek wants to pass the guard but Temille is keeping the position.
Temille controls Shrek momentarily but Shrek frees himself.
Temille manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Temille can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Shrek is looking to escape.

Temille working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Shrek turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Temille off and cradles Shrek's limp body as Temille celebrates with his corner.
