Beat Brown has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Brown does no damage.
Brown looks to score with a jab to the body but figari is just out of range.

Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Brown throws a series of punches but figari avoids them all with ease.
Beat Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
figari throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brown looks to score with a jab to the body but figari is just out of range.

figari looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but figari persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing.

figari cracks Brown with a big right hand but Brown just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown pushes figari away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, figari gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
