The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alkofer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Alkofer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Alkofer throws a shot from downtown. Fenili moves away and avoids it.
Alkofer lands a nice looking body kick.
Fenili blocks a leg kick.
Fenili looks to score with a jab to the body but Alkofer is just out of range.
Alkofer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Alkofer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Alkofer swings away with a body shot that misses
and Fenili counters with a takedown into side control.
Alkofer is looking to regain half guard here but Fenili keeps moving and retains side control.
Fenili is looking to take a break and control but Alkofer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Alkofer is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fenili has hold of Alkofer's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Alkofer tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fenili cranks the arm and Alkofer screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Alkofer, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
