The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saldo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kamy is fending him off so far but Saldo persists. Nope, Kamy circles away and we're back to standing.
Saldo closes the distance but Kamy moves to the side
and Kamy counters with a one-two to the body.
Kamy stuffs the takedown.
Kamy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Saldo.
Gary Kamy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Saldo.
Kamy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kamy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kamy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Saldo eats them both and turns towards Kamy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Rickson Saldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kamy scores with a shot to the body.
Saldo looks gassed!

and Kamy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gary Kamy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kamy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kamy throws a series of punches but Saldo moves out of range.
Kamy connects with a combination that backs up Saldo into the cage. Kamy lands a flurry of punches that gets past Saldo's guard. Saldo is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Kamy bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
