Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jak Progresso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Menger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Progresso comes to the cage accompanied by From the Ritz to the Rubble. Menger has chosen Bring Back The Music - by Sweatshop Union as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Progresso feints and then cracks Menger's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Menger down.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Menger.
Menger cracks Progresso with an open hand slap.
Progresso throws a series of punches but Menger avoids them all with ease.
Progresso misses with a straight left.
Menger tries to score a power double leg takedown but Progresso sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Menger somewhat.

Jak Progresso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Menger.

Menger throws a hook to the side of Progresso's head but Progresso sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Progresso is looking to wear down Menger with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Menger checks a leg kick.
Menger might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Progresso enables Menger to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Progresso manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Progresso is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Menger is pressing down on Progresso's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Menger is looking for a triangle but Progresso pushes his legs off easily.
Progresso knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Menger on the ground.

Menger has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Progresso should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Menger has tightened it up now! Progresso should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
