Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rex Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vlad Trance!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher closes the distance but Trance moves to the side

and Trance counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Trance is looking to advance position but Fisher has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Fisher misses with a head shot.
Trance wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Fisher.
Trance is looking to get to half guard.
Fisher throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Fisher punching from mount but Trance doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Trance keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Trance wants to hold on but Fisher pushes him away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fisher thowing shots but they're missing.

Fisher moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Trance has worked his arm free - good work by Trance!
Fisher in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Trance bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Trance closes the distance and clinches up with Fisher, looking for a takedown. Trance pushes Fisher against the cage but Fisher circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Trance keeps the fight on the outside.
Fisher tries to clinch but Trance moves out of range.

Trance shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Trance was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Trance swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
