Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Davy Bauwens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Freebird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Freebird's choice of entrance music: Freebird. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freebird shoots in but no luck this time.

Freebird really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bauwens. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bauwens is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Freebird scores with a couple of nice shots.

Bauwens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Freebird can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bauwens quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Freebird has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
