The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do lands with an uppercut that bounces Liddell off the cage and back into rage.
Do misses with a body kick.
Liddell tries for a takedown but Do circles away easily

and Do counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Liddell!

Do controlling from the full mount.
Liddell is wriggling around trying to escape.
Do wants to take his opponent's back but Liddell doesn't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Liddell is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Do gets his way!

Do working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Liddell's head.

Do lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Daniel Do has got the better of the ground game so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Liddell tries to reverse the position but Do maintains control.
Liddell tries to buck Do off but Do takes his back!
Do keeps control of the position as Liddell tries to break free.
Do gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
I really don't envy Liddell right now.
Do tries to get the hooks in deep but Liddell pushed the leg off.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Do controlling the positon.
Do has Liddell flattened out and is raining down punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel Do showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Do fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Liddell looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Liddell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Do was well out of range. Poor timing from Liddell.

Do shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Liddell's guard.

Well Do has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
