With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Foti Vasa!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murdock with a lazy takedown attempt
and Vasa counters with a right hand to the body.

Vasa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Murdock to the mat! Murdock manages to get full guard.
Vasa landing some decent shots from guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vasa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vasa controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vasa decides to stand back up.
Vasa tries to land a front kick but Murdock steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Murdock displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vasa.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Murdock gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Vasa looking to sit in guard and control but Murdock gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Murdock wants to control from the top but Vasa keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Vasa pushes Murdock off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
