Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Herman Fidelis!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harvey circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fidelis shoots in for a double leg but Harvey sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fidelis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Harvey throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Harvey doesn't manage to clinch there - Fidelis circles away.
Harvey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Harvey swats away the attempt to clinch by Fidelis.
Fidelis tries to clinch but Harvey is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fidelis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kenny Harvey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herman Fidelis.
Fidelis fails in his attempt to clinch.

Fidelis slips a jab and a cross from Harvey.
Fidelis tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Harvey counters with a shoot takedown. Fidelis fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fidelis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Harvey is controlling him.
Harvey tries to stand but Fidelis is controlling from the bottom.
Harvey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fidelis is keeping the position for now.
Fidelis throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Fidelis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fidelis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harvey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fidelis looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Fidelis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harvey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fidelis is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Harvey has his hands clasped together but Fidelis extends an breaks Harvey's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Fidelis.
