The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Alkofer misses its intended target.
Alkofer feints and then cracks Jung's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jung down.
Alkofer throws a leg kick but Jung moved away.
Alkofer swinging wildly here.
Alkofer fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jung is out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jung checks a leg kick.
Jung gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jung takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A jab from Alkofer misses.
Alkofer misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jung.
Alkofer is trying to get back to his feet.
Jung wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alkofer keeps working.

Jung is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Jung looks up at the clock and then as Alkofer takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jung smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Jung wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alkofer, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jung throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Jung working the strikes but Alkofer uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Jung works his way into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jung has control of Alkofer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Alkofer regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Alkofer is in a horrible position here. Jung smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Jung throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Alkofer has his hands clasped together but Jung breaks the hold and Alkofer is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Jung!
