Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elvington lands a slapping body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hill. Elvington does a little dance to reset his feet.
Elvington tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Hill counters with a nice double leg into side control. Elvington won't be happy with that.
Hill looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Elvington is avoiding damage well.
Sloppy strikes there by Hill.
Hill throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Elvington is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Elvington is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hill thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Elvington is trying to control Hill's posture but Hill avoids it.
Hill wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Elvington, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Elvington is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Hill looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Hill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hill in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Elvington is trying to control Hill's posture but Hill avoids it.
Elvington is looking for a sweep.
Hill tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hill has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hill is working to tighten is grip on Elvington's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Elvington has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hill is really squeezing tight and eventually Elvington passes out! Hill breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
