We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ice with a hook.
Johnson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ice.
Johnson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Ice counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ice swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ice moves out of range as Johnson throws a body kick.
Ice misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson tries to clinch but Ice moves out of range.
Johnson shoots in for a double leg but Ice sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ice dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Johnson. That did some damage!

Ice lands a left and a right that send Johnson crashing to the mat, dazed. Ice thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jon Johnson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ice connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ice swinging wildly here.
Ice feints a jab promting Johnson to slip. Ice then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Johnson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ice throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Johnson's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Ice dives in looking to finish as Johnson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Ice's strikes! Ice is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Johnson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Johnson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
