Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evan Deavon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves has chosen Damian Marley - Welcome To Jamrock as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Deavon.
Alves misses with a takedown attempt - Deavon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Evan Deavon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Deavon sizes up Alves with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Deavon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Alves.
Alves is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Alves isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Deavon stacks Alves on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Deavon!

That was a close second round but I would say that Evan Deavon will probably get the nod.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Deavon, as that shot connected.

Deavon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Deavon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Alves. That did some damage!

Alves lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
