Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chael Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Ung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Sonnen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ung's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sonnen throws and elbow that misses. Ung uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sonnen's guard. Nice move by Ung!
Ung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sonnen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Chael Sonnen will probably get the nod.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kevin Ung hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sonnen connects with a nice short shot to Ung's temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sonnen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ung is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sonnen, into his guard.
Sonnen wants to stand but Ung is controlling the position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chael Sonnen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Sonnen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Ung had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sonnen defends it easily.
Ung controls Sonnen momentarily but Sonnen frees himself.

Sonnen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ung has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sonnen has managed to get both his arms back between Ung's legs - danger averted.

Kevin Ung's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kevin Ung's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
