PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fouad Chabib (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Donalds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donalds has chosen It's My Life - Bond Jovi as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nathan Donalds will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chabib closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Donalds to the mat! Donalds manages to get full guard.
Donalds keeping moving, preventing Chabib from controlling successfully.

Donalds looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Chabib passes into side control.
Donalds is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Chabib has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Chabib trying to control the action but Donalds is working from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Chabib controls the position.
Donalds wants to get back to his feet.

Chabib tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Chabib has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Donalds!

Chabib postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Donalds looks a forlorn figure.

Chabib is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Donalds is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Donalds flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Chabib anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Donalds and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Chabib slips an arm under Donalds chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Chabib has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Chabib is squeezing on Donalds like an anaconda would it's prey. Donalds fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
