Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom McGettigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGettigan comes to the cage accompanied by Knifeman - The Bronx. Mikey Hogan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tom McGettigan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mikey Hogan!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from McGettigan.

It looks like Mikey Hogan has been cut.
That kick from McGettigan tenderised Hogan's leg. Hogan is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hogan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McGettigan napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hogan trying to control the action but McGettigan is working from the bottom.

Hogan stands up and we're back to a striking position.
McGettigan lands with a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGettigan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hogan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tom McGettigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGettigan scores with a nice strike.
A jab from McGettigan finds it's way through Hogan's defenses.
McGettigan tests Hogan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hogan looks gassed!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hogan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGettigan's waist but McGettigan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hogan off to one side.
McGettigan cracks Hogan with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Hogan falls to his knees and McGettigan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
