The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anubis blocks the body kick.
Anubis checks a leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Anubis or perhaps it was just good defense by BDown which made him look bad.
BDown scores with a kick to the body.
BDown feints and then cracks Anubis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Anubis down.
BDown lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
BDown moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
BDown turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
BDown lands with a cross.
Anubis throws a chopping leg kick but BDown manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
BDown tries a head kick but it misses.

Anubis is breathing heavily.
Anubis checks the leg kick.

A slapping leg kick lands for BDown.
BDown catches Anubis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
BDown thumps Anubis with a low kick.
BDown throws a leg kick which misses Anubis's front leg but catches the back leg as Anubis tries to avoid it.
Shogun BDown is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

BDown pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Anubis back to the cage. BDown follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Hamid Anubis has been cut.
BDown misses with a kick to the body.
Both fighters circling a little - BDown finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Anubis shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
BDown lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

BDown moves into the clinch.

Anubis has had enough of the clinch but BDown keeps him there for the moment.
BDown scores with a nice hook to the head.

Anubis's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

BDown misses with a knee strike.
Anubis tries to pull guard but BDown won't allow it.

BDown lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A short body shot lands from BDown as the two fighters clinch.
BDown's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
A right hook to the body lands for BDown.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A short body shot lands from BDown as the two fighters clinch.
BDown connects with a nasty looking knee right to Anubis's face.
BDown effectively controlling the action here.
BDown digs a right hand underneath Anubis's ribcage. Anubis let out a lung full of air as it connected.
BDown scores with a shot to the side of Anubis's head.

Hamid Anubis's cut is getting worse.

Anubis tries to pull guard but BDown won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hamid Anubis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

BDown drops Anubis with a big knee straight up the middle! Anubis is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Anubis is rocked!
BDown thuds his shin into the meat of Anubis's side.
Oh Anubis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick misses from BDown.
Anubis seems to have got his legs back now.
A slapping leg kick lands for BDown.
Anubis walks forward, straight into a front kick from BDown.
Anubis gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! BDown gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
