Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuo Chiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes to the cage accompanied by Black Sabbath - Lord of This World. Chiba has chosen Chop Suey as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiba dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Chiba uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Walker has time to react.
Chiba slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Walker. Chiba shrugs it off though.
Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chiba moves away.

Walker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chiba has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Dean Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chiba takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Walker has closed the distance and engaged Chiba in a clinch.
Walker presses Chiba against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Walker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Dean Walker will probably get the nod.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Chiba has cracked Walker with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Chiba lands another huge swinging hook and Walker tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Walker, before Chiba can land any more shots!
