Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manee Masato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Murdock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Masato might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Cant Stop. Manee Masato has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masato takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Murdock misses with a low kick.
Masato throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Murdock lands with a right hand.
A head kick misses from Murdock.
Murdock lands a leg kick that knocks Masato off balance momentarily.
Ian Murdock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murdock keeps the fight on the outside.
Masato closes the distance and clinches up with Murdock, looking for a takedown. Masato pushes Murdock against the cage but Murdock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Masato chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Murdock can pounce on him.

Murdock decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Murdock feints and then cracks Masato's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Masato down.
Masato is breathing heavily.

and Murdock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Murdock fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Masato has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Masato gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Masato doesn't manage to clinch there - Murdock circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Murdock! Masato is out on his feet! Murdock rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Masato is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Masato is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
