Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canadian Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shane Watson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Canadian Assassin!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assassin shoots in but no luck this time.
Assassin has his takedown stuffed
and Watson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Assassin dives in and grabs Watson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Watson pushes down on Assassin's head and hops out.
Shane Watson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Canadian Assassin.
Assassin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Assassin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Watson gets caught napping as Assassin dives in and scores a takedown. Watson manages to retain guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Assassin postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Shane Watson.
Assassin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Watson as he avoids it easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Assassin avoids the body shot from Watson.
Shane Watson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Watson misses with a right hand
and Assassin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Watson!
Watson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Watson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Assassin misses with a head shot.
Assassin lands a big elbow.
Watson is trying to escape the mount.
Assassin throwing strikes here but Watson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Assassin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Watson's face.
It looks like Shane Watson has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Assassin has hold of Watson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Watson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Watson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Shane Watson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Shane Watson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
