Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drako Drakodyak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Te Mana Lumotuffio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lumotuffio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Aue Te Aroha. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lumotuffio takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Lumotuffio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Drakodyak counters with a big head kick but Lumotuffio shrugs it off.

Lumotuffio feints and as Drakodyak raises his hands in defense, Lumotuffio changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lumotuffio is standing up over Drakodyak. Drakodyak looks to escape but Lumotuffio dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lumotuffio might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Drakodyak kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lumotuffio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Drakodyak keeps working.
Lumotuffio prevents Drakodyak from escaping the position.
Lumotuffio lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Drakodyak down.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Drakodyak counters with a head kick. That will keep Lumotuffio thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Drakodyak lands a big head kick that sends Lumotuffio tumbling to the mat! Drakodyak takes a step backwards and waves Lumotuffio back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Te Mana Lumotuffio has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters circle, before Drakodyak throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Lumotuffio's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Drakodyak lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
