The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Louis Cane has been cut.

Cane shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pain napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cane is looking to take a break and control but Pain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cane passes Pain's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Cane performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Pain wants to get back to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pain is looking to regain half guard here but Cane keeps moving and retains side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Louis Cane will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



A momentary lapse in concentration from Pain enables Cane to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pain manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Louis Cane overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Pain manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cane manages to get himself to full guard.

Pain pushing down on Cane's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Pain is pressing down on Cane's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cane is holding on for now.
Cane is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pain's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pain's back!
Pain tries to roll but Cane sticks to his back.
Cane has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Pain's body.

Pain defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Cane's arms.

Cane is working for a rear naked choke. Pain is not defending it well and Cane has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Pain refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Pain's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Louis Cane!
