The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ANus misses with a low kick.
Man misses with a wild body shot.
ANus walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Man lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as ANus backs up against the cage.

ANus is rocked!
Decent striking displayed by Man there.
ANus is still on wobbly legs! Can Man finish him?
Man wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
ANus seems to have recovered his senses.
Man looks to score with a jab to the body but ANus is just out of range.
ANus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Man lands an overhand right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Man jabs ANus right on the nose. ANus blinks but takes it well.

Nice combo by Man! Oh, that's hurt him - ANus falls to the canvas and Man follows him into side control.
ANus managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Man.

Man is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but ANus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Man thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and ANus works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Man looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Man misses with a head shot. ANus uses the momentum to regain guard.
ANus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Man manages to get himself to full guard.

Man trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

ANus is looking to work some ground and pound but Man has wrist control.
ANus is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

and ANus counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by ANus.
ANus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Man is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst ANus is controlling him.
ANus postures up in Man's guard and throws a big left but Man blocks it.

ANus takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Super Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and ANus counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
ANus uses his free foot to push down on Man's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Man.

ANus can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Man is looking to escape.
Man's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. B Ol ANus hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Man looks to land a combination but ANus avoids it well.
Man misses with a looping left.

Man lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but ANus circles away quickly and effectively.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Man enables ANus to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Man manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
