Nowak closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kosarev's guard.
Nowak sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kosarev's guard.

Nowak postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kosarev looks a forlorn figure.

Nowak wants to control the pace but Kosarev is squirming around nicely.
Kosarev tries to lock up and control but Nowak gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Nowak lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Nowak tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Kosarev sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kosarev manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Nowak wants to pass the guard but Kosarev is keeping the position.

Nowak drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Nowak has hold of Kosarev's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kosarev tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Nowak cranks the arm and Kosarev screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kosarev, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
